Wimpy Kid & BEYOND! exhibit extended by popular request at Orange Public Library Children's Dept.

January 21, 2012 to February 3, 2012
Display of books suggested for 3rd through 6th graders who have already read the Diary of a Wimpy Kid or one from that popular book series by Jeff Kinney.  These are books that are either in a similar informal diary/notebook style, many illustrated with  cartoons/doodles format.  Others are books of a different style, more narrative and more fully developed characters, about typical issues faced by children in 4th-8th grade surrounding friendship, bullying, school, and family relationships.See More

Orange Public Library suggests - Wimpy Kid & BEYOND! at Orange Public Library Children's Dept.

Children's Summer Reading Club @ Orange Public Library - One World Many Stories

Stories from around the world  have been shared in the Orange Public Library Children's Dep't. since we started our summer reading program mid -June.  Registration continues for another week, then on August 1st we'll have a drawing for each of the Summer Reading Club bright yellow tee shirts now on display in the Children's room.  Several children have already one tee shirts during random drawings for program attendance; many have received small prizes for bringing back their books on time. …
